Language of Heart Alchemy Cards

Do you enjoy using oracle or tarot cards? They are a great communication and navigational system to help reflect the energy currents of the present moment in your life. The cards are not about “predicting” the future, but more like an energetic weather report on the story already in motion. Oracles of any kind are created as a means to partner with your higher divine power, and receive wisdom and guidance. It is not a prediction tool, it is a personal mastery tool. It also helps to not take it all so seriously and realize that the game of life gives us many ways to receive guidance on our paths.

So, for this week, and for the first issue of the newly revived Inspired World Magazine, I asked The Language of Heart Alchemy oracle card deck about New Beginnings. The Language of Heart Alchemy is an oracle card deck that I created over a three year period, and it exists to unlock and share inspirational wisdom from your own heart.

I pulled three cards to reflect on the weekly energetic weather report for our collective story in motion. It’s looking like get up and go time, but remember to love yourself through the process and experience of it all.

The first card is Compassion.

Question: Can you allow yourself or another to feel and express what they need to?

Message: Compassion does NOT mean to take on someone else’s pain so they don’t feel it. Compassion is a healer and requires being centered and non-judgmental. It is a mediator and remains neutral on the subject in question. Neutrality requires skill, experience and practice. Energetically it is holding the space between the here and now (the practical realm), and the in-another-place nebulous ego free zone of purity.

Going deeper into the meaning of this for new beginnings for all of us, stepping into the unknown can be scary. We need to remember to treat ourselves with compassion as we expand and open up to the changes and shifts in our lives. Stay grounded. Spend some time in nature to stay connected with the earth. Whether we have chosen the change or the change has chosen us, don’t judge yourself harshly. Taking that first step can be huge, so remember compassion for yourself in those moments of “what the hell am I doing?”

The second card is Air Element.

Question: What is the topic for discussion?

Message: Air approaches energy mentally, and is a thinker. Air is social, always ready for a new relationship or friendship. Air loves learning, but can bore easily. Air has great intellectual curiosity, is into ideas and people, is communicative, shares information, interacts with others, and influences society. Tap into air energy to be  articulate and objective. Being mentally clear with a detached understanding, share the conversation.

Adding Compassion to the element of air, we get centered and straightforward communication. Remember, the purpose of communication is to communicate, not to see who’s right or wrong. Once you’ve taken that first big step into a new endeavor, new people and experiences follow. Be clear in your communication with both yourself and others. You are learning something new, and someone else may have the experience to help take you further on the journey. Be open to being the student, and don’t judge yourself for not knowing everything already. Maybe learn to listen more… really listen. Communication and inspiration can show up in many ways; through talking with others, emotional messages, body language, and even just a simple “knowing” while you’re doing a mundane daily activity like showering or driving.

The third card is Courage.

Question: Ready to take the leap?

Message: It takes courage to be seen, to perform and to radiate with strength and confidence. Whatever the intention of your heart is, reach out. The energy is there for you to be received and appreciated. Take that first step and pay no mind to F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real).

So, in the realm of new beginnings, we know to hold space for compassion with ourselves, and stay in the moment. We’ve learned that clear communication is essential. Now the courage card tells us to get up and go for it. It takes courage to take the leap into something new, stay compassionate with yourself when you are the “newbie”, and open different channels of communication. Keep your intention pure through the journey of your new beginning, and have the confidence to be seen and heard. The lion on the courage card also reminds us to continue to listen to our HEART, as its messages will communicate in ways that we may not be expecting!
