Language of Heart Alchemy Cards
Read by Charlene Maguire
This week we are moving into a space of reflection… with Mercury retrograding in the fire sign of Aries, we are invited to consider our passions and our internal fire as we review our subconscious map of the mind. This can be a challenging time for outer communication, but don’t let this make you fearful of your daily interactions. It’s a time when we can learn how to keep certain thoughts to ourselves and not be so implusive with our actions. This retrograde is a time to re-think, re-consider, and maybe re-do some things. Use tools like astrology and oracle cards to EMPOWER yourself. Release those who spread the negative side to things. With the three cards that were pulled from The Language of Heart Alchemy deck, we are being asked to take a look at the network of support around us, and consider our connections. With this consideration, we also have to look at how we support ourselves in these interactions… how do you nourish and nurture yourself as well as others in your tribe?
For anyone reading this who is new to oracle cards: Oracle and Tarot cards are a wonderful but sometimes misunderstood tool. The cards are a tool that will not “predict your future,” but rather, help you create it. They are a way to help us learn to communicate directly with our higher selves and partner with spirit to receive wisdom and guidance on the decisions we need to make. They are a way to tap into your own superpowers! The cards can be an amazing communication and navigational system to help reflect the energy currents of the present moment in your life. This is not about prediction in any way… more like the energetic weather report of the story already in motion. All of us are on some form of a path to personal mastery, and oracle cards can be like an ongoing friendship that supports you in the areas of your life that you need it most.
The first card is Network.
Question: Is the webwork supported?
Message: Spiders are experts at weaving beautifully engineered webs, and creating an interconnecting system and structure to help support itself. People can do the same. Like the spiders web, a network stretches and expands beyond a small space in order to connect to a bigger relational possibility. Networks don’t just happen though. You have to look for them, curating your relationships with the people already around you to strengthen the connection.
What do you do to create and support your network of people around you? How do you communicate, and could you do something to make this better or update it? This could be any kind of network… business, friendships, family. Take a look at these relationships and see where things need to be reviewed, changed, upgraded.
The second card is Nourish.
Question: What makes you feel nourished?
Message: We need to nourish our hearts, minds, souls, and bodies. A delicious meal, a relaxing massage, a good book, a steamy latte, a day at the beach with your sweetheart, or a trip to a new fun place all serve to feed the desire for growth, health, and self care. Do what makes you feel good and raises your vibration!
It’s difficult to have a good network of support when you don’t even nourish yourself. What do you do to feed your body, mind, and spirit? Take a look at the food you take into your body, the books, shows, videos, websites you feed your mind each day, and if all of this actually nourishes your spirit or weakens it.
The third card is Nurture.
Question: Where and what is a nurturing environment for you?
Message: Picture yourself as a small seedling plant. What is the kind of environment that will encourage you to flourish? You will need sunlight, rain, soil with the correct balance of minerals and nutrients, and the support of all the elements in the natural world around you. Our entire environment can have a huge effect on how nurtured we feel. Take a look around.
Right on the heels of the Nourish card, take a look at the physical space you are in day after day. What can you do to make it more nurturing? Maybe a different kind of lighting, a new plant, or an inspiring painting on the wall could make all the difference. Are the people around you nurturing to you or toxic? It might be time to make some changes all around.
