Language of Heart Alchemy Cards
Read by Charlene Maguire
We are reverberating off of the energy of the new moon in Pisces this week. New moons are a time to plant new seeds of intention. The energy right now is speaking to a big release, but first we have to choose it. Pisces is the ether that surrounds us, and we can float around not knowing which way is up or down. That can be a space of discomfort, but sometimes we need to sit with the discomfort in order to receive information we will use going forward. Right now we need to know who we are, what we can contribute to the community at large, and then make that commitment to move forward. This needs to be done in a way where we aren’t attached to any outcome. Let go of needing logical explanations, justifications, and rationalization. Make your choices and then go all in for the ride. For the next few weeks, that ride may most likely be an inner journey.
Starting this Thursday and for the next three weeks, Mercury will be retrograde. When any planet moves retrograde it is a good time for communication within yourself in reference to the energies of that planet. For Mercury, outward communication may get messed up or twisted, but if you take this time to focus more on your own inner workings, behaviors, and habits, you could find discover some of your own magic.
For anyone reading this who is new to oracle cards: Oracle and Tarot cards are a wonderful but sometimes misunderstood tool. The cards are a tool that will not “predict your future,” but rather, help you create it. They are a way to help us learn to communicate directly with our higher selves and partner with spirit to receive wisdom and guidance on the decisions we need to make. They are a way to tap into your own superpowers! The cards can be an amazing communication and navigational system to help reflect the energy currents of the present moment in your life. This is not about prediction in any way… more like the energetic weather report of the story already in motion. All of us are on some form of a path to personal mastery, and oracle cards can be like an ongoing friendship that supports you in the areas of your life that you need it most.
The first card is Unity.
Question: What qualities bring us into unity?
Message: All of our unique differences can actually help us to move more towards harmony and unity if we can be in a state of appreciation. The big melting pot of this planet is so much fun if we see our black, white, yellow, red, blue, green, purple, orange, grey… in a way that enhances and adds to each other instead of weakening and reducing. Love, however, remains throughout it all.
We are all unique. We have special talents, skills, abilities, and superpowers which contribute to creating the world we live in. You are one unique color in the rainbow! Do you know who you are? If you don’t yet, than get on the path to learning who you truly are and what you have to give, because we all have a special something. All of our gifts are needed at this time on the planet to help humanity move through the transformational changes that are happening.
The second card is Community.
Question: How do you contribute to the group?
Message: A community is a group that comes together for support and strengthens itself through shared ideas, activities, fun, and personal growth for the members. Grow one from the roots! The example of a community garden has all the elements needed — a place where members can gather, individual plots where each person can contribute both literally and through ideas, and the shared emotional connection through nurturing their plant choices.
Once you know who you truly are and can give of your superpowers, it becomes time to find the community that you resonate with, and the people that can receive you. As an example, maybe you are a gifted musician, so you might want to find other people who love to talk about music, jam together, and teach/play. Maybe you are a mom with three kids, and you find other moms and families to share/teach thoughts, advice, tips and tricks. Through finding our own unique talents and abilities, we then energize community around us, which contributes to the world at large.
The third card is Commitment.
Question: Is your heart in it? Will you ask for more out of yourself?
Message: Commitment can have two sides. On one, you are dedicated and devoted to a cause or activity and are excited for this undertaking. On the other side it becomes an obligation that not only restricts freedom, but could cause you harm and make you resentful. You might be needing to make a decision — choose wisely.
We become what actions we take and choices we make. When you open up to giving of your talents and gifts to others or to a community, you can be faced with larger choices, decisions, and commitments to make. Step back for a bit and consider a decision or possible commitment at hand… is this really something you want to do or be a part of? If it is a real whole-body-jumping-up-and-down “yes,” than go for it. If it is a “hmmm… I don’t know…” than you might need to reconsider. If you’re going to give your whole heart to an endeavor, person, or project, it better be one that you truly feel good about!
