Language of Heart Alchemy Cards

Read by Charlene Maguire

There’s been a lot of heavy energy this past week. Have you been feeling it? This coming week we are going to need to lighten up a bit! Remember how to play, imagine, and feel free. Allow your creativity to flow through, so you’ll know what to act on and what to let go of. Work with what feels good and discard the rest. Through all of this, remember to let others have their space and ideas as well. Instead of judging people’s choices, encourage someone else’s imagination and help them expand more through your compassion. Maybe you’ll surprise each other.

For anyone reading this who is new to oracle cards: Oracle and Tarot cards are a wonderful but sometimes misunderstood tool. The cards are a tool that will not “predict your future,” but rather, help you create it. They are a way to help us learn to communicate directly with our higher selves and partner with spirit to receive wisdom and guidance on the decisions we need to make. They are a way to tap into your own superpowers! The cards can be an amazing communication and navigational system to help reflect the energy currents of the present moment in your life. This is not about prediction in any way… more like the energetic weather report of the story already in motion. All of us are on some form of a path to personal mastery, and oracle cards can be like an ongoing friendship that supports you in the areas of your life that you need it most.

The first card is Lighthearted.

Question: What makes you feel light?

Message: If you’ve been dealing with some heavy responsibilities or stressful situations lately, than it might be time to go play more. Get out the finger paints. Make a blanket fort. Have tea. Go for a walk. Fly a kite. Grab the guitar. Allow yourself to daydream — All day. Get back into your space of Cheerful, free, and happy. lighten up!

Get back into a space of play. So many people get up in the morning and groan, suck down some coffee, go to work… work work work work and then work some more, and then end their day in the same state of mind. Grumpy. No matter what you are doing or what your work is, allow the fun and play and imagination in more. It will make the “work” more fun, even if you’re not exactly where you want to be at the moment. Cheer someone else up with a simple gesture of kindness. Crack a joke so you all can laugh… more of that is needed.

The second card is HeartOn.

Question: What gives you a heart-on?

Message: Heart-on is purposeful action. It stands at attention when aroused and is ready to please. Taking a direct approach, a well-endowed heart-on will be present, playful, charming, enjoyable, entertaining, gratifying, and oh-so happy. In order to have the benefit of a heart-on, you have to be open and ready to give and receive. Get a hold of a heart-on, and don’t let go until ecstatic pleasure is experienced.

A funny thing happens when you lighten up and let fun, play, and imagination in. You suddenly find yourself wanting to take action on an idea. Take action on whatever it is that really moves you. What turns you on? What gets you fired up? What makes you feel alive? Go find some of that, and get to it!

The third card is Compassion.

Question: Can you allow yourself or another to feel and express what they need to?

Message: Compassion does NOT mean to take on someone else’s pain so they don’t feel it. Compassion is a healer and requires being centered and non-judgemental. It is a mediator and remains neutral on the subject in question. Neutrality requires skill, experience and practice. Energetically it is holding the space between the here and now (the practical realm), and the in-another-place nebulous ego free zone of purity.

Another thing happens after you’ve lightened up and start to play more. Not only does this help motivate yourself, but you become a beacon for others! When you are in a space of feeling truly alive, inspired, and motivated, you get OUT of the space of competition, complaining, and judgment. You’ll be able to have compassion for yourself and others. When you can have this compassionate space, you help expand the growth and joy of both yourself AND the people around you! Why? Because you become an inspiration.
